Summary: This position is responsible for developing new business, underwriting, structuring, and the closing of loans, as well as, maintaining and servicing an existing portfolio. Represents the bank in local community through active participation in community affairs and participates in marketing all of the banks products and services.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Provide service to customers and prospective customers seeking loans and/or deposit services.
Monitor an existing loan portfolio to ensure proper risk ratings and early identification of potential problems.
Source, develop and underwrite new financing requests for new & existing customers.
Maximize bank profitability through appropriate pricing of new loan originations, fee income, and selling of all bank products & services.
Daily review, approval and disposition of overdrafts.
Negotiate terms, structure loan financing based on risk considerations and present credits for approval to appropriate levels of authority with the bank as required.
Support the banks strong relationship banking culture through on-going customer contact, quality customer service, and superior product knowledge.
Must be able to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
Effectively work and cooperate with supervisors, co-workers and customers.
Follow the direction of supervisor.
Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:
Bachelor Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field preferred.
Formal credit training.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This work is sedentary and requires the following physical activities:
Sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
Frequent lifting (up to 10 pounds of paper supplies or minor office equipment).
Driving to client locations and other sites as needed.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Normal office environment. Most functions are completed in a sitting position in an office environment with frequent movement to printers and other areas/departments. Most activities also require the use of a computer keyboard and screen. Other activities include the ability to reach such as in filing and to lift and carry up to 10 pounds such as files, etc. Communications can be completed over the telephone, through voice-mail or e-mail. Normal noise levels include telephones, computers and normal customer activity.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
