We are a dynamic company looking for a Dispatcher in our Philadelphia District.
Duties:
A Dispatcher/Coordinator will perform the following:
Oversee and direct the Transportation and Inbound Operation to ensure they are contributing to the day to day functions and to the overall success of the operation.
This position requires strong communication and customer service skills.
It will also require communication with internal customers as well as external customers, providing support for various needs relating to furniture leasing requirements, billing questions and payment processing.
Candidate must be flexible and versatile within the workplace, as well as, with the internal and external customer needs.
These activities will be performed personally or through subordinates.
Qualifications:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes the following.
Others duties may be assigned) Supervise daily movement and activities of a team of up to 20 delivery managers and 20 delivery assistants:
Manage productivity of each team Manage performance of each team's customer service Manage daily hours Although this position is not responsible for documenting disciplinary occurrences the dispatcher does need to communicate expectations and hold driver teams accountable.
Maintain and supervise a fleet of up to 20 Trucks:
Collect and maintain pre-trip inspection forms Make sure Preventative Maintenance is completed on trucks Assist with breakdowns Coordinate additional short term trucking when necessary Dispatch
Responsibilities:
Track trucks and monitor progress using tracking tools.
Log exceptions Communicate consistently and in a timely manner with drivers, sales team, and customers in regards to daily routes Be able to route vehicles and assist with routing in V2 with route approval being verified by the fleet supervisor.
Provide updates and communications using timely 2 way electronic communication, E-mail, V2, Cheetah, telephone, and IM.
Manage and track day to day flow of all trucks and routes to ensure delivery windows are met.
Administrative Responsibilities Upkeep of daily route schedule Answer phones Routinely Use computer (V2, Cheetah, Outlook, IE, and Internet) Exception Log Solve problems relating to customers, driver teams and internal customer and elevate as required.
Leadership
Responsibilities:
Interact with delivery crews and help get crew on the road and to their deliveries Support driver teams as needed Train, coach and mentor driver teams as needed Communication and Customer Service At least1 years experience in the hospitality or customer service industry preferred.
Some inside sales experience is a positive.
Customer service skills both in person and over the phone essential.
Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
Computer literacy to include MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, ect.
), email (Outlook), and internet searching.
The position also requires bending, and walking long distances while at show site.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
