Design Staffing LLC is searching for Archivist with Top Secret SCI Full Scope Polygraph to work at Fort Meade, MD. The Archivist will use the archival database to search for, and retrieve accessions respond to customer inquiries and maintain the collection and archival database.
Duties:
o Gain intellectual and physical custodianship of records with permanent disposition
o Select, appraise, arrange, and describe permanent records through the established archival process
o Appraise records using established schedules
o Arrange records according /adhering to principles of original order and provenance
o House records in preservation quality folders and containers
o Complete accessioning by describing records in the archival database through established standards
o Arrange and prioritize records for eventual declassification and transfer to the National Archives and Records Administration.
Requirements:
Education: Masters of Library Science
o Active and Current TS/SCI, (Lifestyle)Full Scope Poly
o Experience as a declassification instructor/briefer
o 4
years of experience performing accessioning in a library or similar document management organization
o Archiving Experience
o Ability to communicate effectively
o Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as a team member
o Basic computer literacy
o Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems and applications

Preferred:
Cytological experience
Experience working with accessioning in a library or similar document management environment.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
