CLINICAL/EDUCATION COORDINATOR - RESPIRATORY CARE SERVICES

DEFINITION:
The Clinical/Education Coordinator is a Registered Respiratory Therapist in a management position who is responsible to provide department specific leadership in the areas of education, staff development, patient care, department operation, and staffing functions in accordance with the mission, vision, philosophy, standard, policies, protocols and procedures of Rideout Health.
Additionally, this position is directly responsible for the oversight of Respiratory Care Services arterial blood gas lab(s).

Exempt KNOWLEDGE:
Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Bachelor Degree SKILLS:
Demonstrate clinical competence in respiratory therapy.
Demonstrate communication skills to instruct, train, and deal with people; confront and resolve issues; and motivate others.
Ability to plan, organize and direct the activities of others and patient care services.
Demonstrate effective written communication and documentation skills.
Perform technical aspects of patient care.
Demonstrate proficiency in responding to emergent patient situations or internal/external patient situations.
Demonstrate and assure safe use of all equipment within department and when providing patient care.
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years in the clinical field of expertise.
LICENSE:
Valid and current California Respiratory License.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
