Kinney Drugs, Inc. (a division of KPH Healthcare Services, Inc.) is looking for a Full-time IT Field Services Technician in Gouverneur, NY to support its continued growth. Our company is employee-owned and takes pride in providing the highest quality pharmacy and healthcare services.
The Field Services Technician will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and support of computers, peripherals, wireless mobile devices, and store systems equipment. They will manage equipment depot, coordinate asset tracking, and manage equipment repairs. This person will work on trouble tickets so needs a positive customer-focused attitude. They must have prior experience with Windows 7, Microsoft Office, and Active Directory and basic networking principles including TCP/IP, IP addresses and basic troubleshooting.
This position may often provide immediate off hours on-call assistance for urgent service affecting issues and can require a non-traditional work schedule, including nights and weekends. This position requires moderate to heavy amounts of travel.
Applicants must be self-starters, with the ability to work independently, possess a positive attitude and be flexible. A High School Diploma or GED is required. An Associate's Degree in Technology is strongly preferred. At least 2 years of experience in a similar role and with servicing PC's is also preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
