Aquatic Manager
Lacey Parks and Recreation manages three local high school swimming pools:
North Thurston, Timberline, and River Ridge. During the non-school hours, Lacey Parks and Recreation offers community programming such as swim lessons, aquatic fitness classes, open swim, and facilitates rentals for private groups. This is a part-time position working approximately 10-15 hours per week during the school year and 30-35 hours per week during the summer.
Aquatic Managers are expected to supervise head lifeguards, lifeguards, and swim instructors to ensure policies and procedures are followed and to maintain patron safety and a high quality swim lesson program.
This position has a closing date of May 1, 2015. Please note that we will begin screening the applications immediately upon receipt and hiring on an as-needed-basis.
