Night Inventory Control Supervisor

This is a 5-day hourly, non-exempt position. Saturday night and one weekday night (Tuesday or Wednesday) off. Shift is roughly 5-6PM-3-4PM. Training completed on day shift for first 30-days then will move to second shift.
Responsibilities of the Night Inventory Control Supervisor
Direct the process of inventory control, receiving, and utilization of the Warehouse Management System in the night warehouse
Schedule and help supervise Downstockers. Ensure principles of WMS system are carried throughout the Night shift.
Execute Traceability and Food Safety requirements on a day-to-day basis. Help improve Food Safety processes.
Lead ongoing WMS training for staff, including ongoing SOP development and implementation.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Supervise quality of product in pick slots and going outbound on trucks.
Lead person on the floor driving the safety culture, especially safe use of equipment and safe lifting techniques; immediate reporting and corrective actions.
Help continue to develop internal controls in areas such as Inventory Control.
Requirements of the Night Inventory Control Supervisor
o Able to navigate computer systems, including a keystroke-based inventory and order system and Outlook for communication with operations staff
Certified in the use of power equipment such as reach trucks and forklifts
Able to drive change in an environment with both well established and new staff members
Understands workflow of a Warehouse
Inventory control management experience required
Ability to operate warehouse equipment:
lift-truck, pallet-jack, reach truck, forklift
Foodservice warehouse/inventory experience strongly preferred
Bilingual Spanish, preferred
Compensation for the Night Inventory Control Supervisor
Salary for this position is $15.00-$18.00 per hour, based on experience. Full benefits including health, dental, vision, life, 401k, vacations, and Holidays. Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
