Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Onalaska, WI
Purpose &
Summary: The Talent Acquisition Specialist will provide support to the Human Resources Department in attracting, identifying, and hiring top talent in alignment with Dynamic Recycling's recruitment process for all locations. The Talent Acquisition Specialist focuses on creating a positive and engaging experience for all applicants while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Day-to-day responsibilities may include:
Reviewing employment applications & resumes.
Identifying qualified applicants.
Working with the hiring team to schedule interviews.
Conducting pre-employment phone screens and in-person interviews.
Scheduling and monitoring pre-employment background checks and drug screens.
Creating and presenting approved employment offers.
Assisting new hires through the onboarding experience.
Conducting reference checks.
Identifying appropriate recruiting channels and representing Dynamic Recycling at recruiting events.
Analyzing and making recommendations for applicant sources.
Acting as the liaison between company management and temporary staffing agencies.
Providing support to the Human Resources Team with special projects.
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field plus 6 months experience in customer service, sales, or Human Resources position required.
Occasional travel required.
Knowledge:
Recruitment Processes and Procedures.
Administrative Procedures.
Microsoft Office Suite.
Hiring Best Practices.
Discrimination Laws.
Applicant Tracking Software.
Background Checks and Drug Screening.
Skills:
Professional communication through email and phone correspondence.
Sound decision making.

Prioritization.
Abilities:

Preferred
Qualifications: Previous experience in high volume hiring capacity. Affirmative Action compliance. Knowledge of recruiting technique.
