CNC Programmer
JOB DESCRIPTION
The primary responsibilities of the CNC Programmer are:
o Write and optimize CNC programs to create complex parts on 3 and 4 axis machining centers
o Develop work holding and select cutting tools
o Create and compile necessary documents to aid setting up machines
o Integrate work with Engineering, Production, Quality, Purchasing, and Scheduling Departments to ensure a smooth flow of quality products through the factory
o Work to deadlines
JOB REQUIREMENTS
o Experience writing CNC programs in a machining environment
o Demonstrates proficiency with CAD (solid modeling) and CAM software
o Experience using Gibbs is needed.
o Experience in using AutoCAD, CATIA, and/or Solid Works a plus
o Proficient with GD&T
o Demonstrates a professional and positive attitude as well as a passion for continuous improvement
o Demonstrates strong time management skills with the ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects
o CMM programming experience a plus
o HAAS experience a plus
o Experience writing post processors a plus
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
