We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Network Analyst to join our fast-paced, dynamic and challenging environment.
The Network Analyst is responsible for analyzing, configuring, maintaining and repairing network infrastructure and application components. The ideal candidate will perform a wide variety of maintenance, installations, and training tasks to ensure the computer network and server performance meets company and user satisfaction.
This role will also provide support with phone/email Help Desk call logging (to its resolution) and assist with maintenance of equipment.
As a Network Analyst, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Diagnose hardware/software problems and analyze Windows XP/Vista/7/8 desktop system performance related concerns.
Configure and deploy Acronis laptop and desktop images for upgrades/new users. Lenovo X1/T-series & Dell laptop experience required.
Provide support for Firewall/VPN changes.
Responsible for backup servers (hardware & cloud storage technologies).
Exposure to switching, VLANS, and troubleshooting of HP/Cisco POE/GB switches.
Administer and troubleshoot Xerox/Savin/Canon network printers.
Manage daily data replication software between sites.
Maintain internet/intranet SharePoint websites.
Maintain and manage file share access, and organizational group policies.
Maintain and create user accounts in Active Directory, and Exchange 2013. Perform proactive maintenance to ensure availability.
Administer Cisco corporate phone system.
Manage Polycom/LifeSize HDX video systems (IP-based).
Conduct end-user training classes on corporate systems.
Maintain corporate asset tagging and inventory control.
Exposure to VMware ESX server & SAN & NAS technologies.
Write status and progress reports to be reviewed by direct supervisor.
Support corporate LAN/WAN environment including VPN tunnels.
Assist in support of Microsoft Exchange 2013/Office 365 email environment.
24X7 availability. Work with Senior Network Engineer and Vice President, IT to support staff across all sites.
Perform other duties as requested.
The primary location for this role will be based in Basking Ridge, NJ with rotating support to the Allendale, NJ and NYC offices on a weekly basis. A personal vehicle and a valid US driver's license is required for this role.
Salary is very competitive and based on experience & qualifications.
Qualifications:
AA or BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field required
A minimum of 2-4 years of IT related experience in a business environment
Hands on experience with analyzing, configuring, maintaining and repairing network infrastructure and application components and desktop support in a lab environment
Skills &
Experience:
Must possess strong conceptual knowledge and demonstrate in-depth understanding of the following:
Expert in Windows XP/Vista/7/8
Knowledge of 2u x86 server technologies such as onboard RAID and out-of-band management interfaces and configuration
Exposure to remote access applications such as LogMeIn.
Exposure to MS Active Directory file share servers and NAS technology.
Proficient in LogMeIn (or equivalent) VPN/Backup/Rescue products.
Help Desk tracking (task tracking) software experience.
Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
Independent problem solving skills and self-direction (proactive thinking)
Proficient in Microsoft Office

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
