Springdale Job Corps Center, a Technical Training School nestled amid the trees at the mouth of the Columbia River Gorge, is seeking a Cook Helper to assist with meal preparation and clean up in accordance with preplanned menus. Assist with preparation, cooking and serving of meals; ensure that foods are held and served at proper temperatures and left overs properly stored. Keep food service area, tables, floors, and equipment clean and sanitary. Perform other duties as requested.
Must maintain professional appearance, work as a team member, and be able to meet attendance requirements for the position. High School Diploma or equivalent and six months experience required. Must be able to obtain Food Handlers card within 30 days of employment. Previous experience in a commercial or institutional kitchen a plus.
This is a full time position with a complete benefits package available. $11.00 per hour. Applications are being accepted on line at !Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
