Location: Moody, Alabama
Pay: $12-16/hr - depending on experience
Temp to Perm Position
Shift: Monday - Friday 5:00am - 3:30pm (overtime/some Saturdays when needed)

Responsibilities:
The Laser Programmer writes operating programs for Trumpf Punch and Trumpf laser cutting equipment utilizing Pro-E and TruTops software.
Assigns laser paths and tooling hits to enable software to convert to numeric codes that are downloaded into the specific equipment.
Assures proper tooling is available for machine setups.
Performs preventive maintenance for punch and lasers and performs minor breakdown repairs. Coordinates major maintenance with outside vendors.
Responsible for loading sheet metal stock into Mazak Laser.
Responsible for maintaining production and inventory usage records for programmed equipment. Requisitions required parts and lubrication fluids.
Responsible for training equipment operators and lead persons.
Basic
Qualifications:
o At least 1 year laser programming experience.
o Knowledge of shop math, practical algebra, geometric construction and essentials of trigonometry.
o Ability to read instructions in use and maintenance of shop tools and equipment and methods and procedures in mechanical drawing and layout work.
o Ability to prepare records using series of names, numbers, and simple sentences.
o Must be able to communicate clearly.
o Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
o Must have the ability to utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.)
o Must have clean background - Drug Free Workplace
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
