Seeking an Intake Specialist
CynaMed has an immediate opening for an Intake Specialist for an indefinite contract position in the Warrendale, PA area. Qualified applicant must have previous experience working with staff to aid in patient enrollments and all information required for patient prescriptions to be filled in a timely and efficient manner. Candidate will work directly under the supervision of the Pharmacist.
Job Duties consist of: data entry of all patient demographic information, managing all faxes and routing them to appropriate contact, route calls from internal and external callers and provide superior customer service, assist pharmacist with all filling of prescriptions, and complete all tasks as assigned by the Pharmacist.
Qualifications include but are not limited to:
o Previous experience in a pharmacy setting (specialty is a plus)
o Strong communication and math skills
o Basic computer skills, with typing speed minimum 25 words per minute
o Current CPhT license is required
o Thorough understanding of insurance/reimbursement services
