Installation and Service Technician
One of our partners in the Birmingham area is seeking an entry level Installation and Service Technician who is looking to grow with their company! The ideal candidate will have a professional demeanor and possess the ability to work well with a team.
Position Description
Serves customers by installing and servicing systems and products.
Works with clients in a service and support role for hardware and software
This individual works daily with clients, project managers, sales staff, and other technicians.
Provides installs, training, and support.
Primary Responsibilities
The Installation & Support Technician's duties include installing storage solutions, scanners and software from our vendor partners at client facilities. This will require additional training, learning, and passing certification tests from the company's vendor partners in order to be qualified to perform the work at various client facilities.
Secondary responsibilities include customer training, product presentations, software demonstrations, and sales support when needed.

Specific Requirements:
Specific Site Badging, Drug Testing per site discretion, Clean Driving Record/ Valid Driver's License, Traveling involved/Possible weekend work, Fork/Scissor/Boom/Aerial Lift training, OSHA Training 10 hour course, Manufacturer Certified Training School.
Systems include:
Hardware Scanners, Vertical Lifts and Carousels, Kardex Titans and Lektrievers, Mobile Shelving, Wire Mesh Partitions, Pallet Rack, Static Shelving, In Plant Office, Mezzanines, Industrial Shelving, Lockers, Rotary Files, Cantilever Shelving, Wire Shelving, Wide Span, etc.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
