Employment Opportunities for Part-Time Habilitation Technicians to provide one-on-one, direct-care services to individuals with physical and developmental disabilities in the community and in client's homes.
No experience is required to be a habilitation technician. If you are selected to work with a client, you will receive paid trainings in First Aid and CPR, North Carolina Interventions (NCI), Bloodborne Pathogens, Positioning/Turning/Transferring Clients, Orientation, Medication Administration, and one-on-one training with the client you were selected to work with.
You are required to have your own transportation, a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, pass our criminal record check standards, and a High School diploma or the equivalent.
Typically, the hours vary M-F between 2:30pm and 9:30pm and 10am-6pm on Saturday/Sunday (applicants do not need to be available all days and there may be occasional morning and day shift available). We also have on-call, fill-in jobs available, which we pay at a higher rate of pay. We serve clients and families in the Triad, Triangle, Coastal and Eastern regions of North Carolina.

Driver License

Social Security Card or Birth Certificate.
Car Insurance (must have your policy dates.)
Vehicle Registration.
Vehicle Inspection.
Voided check or Bank routing and Account number for Direct deposit.
3 Letters of reference (must be professional, not personal and use the reference check form located above)
Most recent Diploma.
$15 for criminal record check (check or money order only)

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
