WORK LOCATION: Lacey, WA 98503 -- NO REMOTE
CITIZENSHIP: US Citizen preferred; will consider Green Card
Essential Duties:
o Strongly serving and supporting the Product Owner and Development Team in order to deliver value and delight customers
o Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style and leading by example. This person should personify Scrum and Agile.
o Guiding and Coaching the Scrum Team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers
o Guiding and Coaching both the Scrum Team and the Development team on how to get the most out of self-organization
o Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization
o Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
o Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.
o Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
o Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
o Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information for better visibility.
o Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially with respect to refining (aka. grooming) and managing the product backlog
Required Skills/
Experience: MUST HAVE ALL REQUIRED SKILLS TO BE CONSIDERED
o First level Scrum Master certification (PSM I, CSM )
o Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least 2 years for a software development team
o Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
o Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques (example: numerous Burn down techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.)
o Experience being on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts (different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc.)
o Knowledge of other approaches discussed in the Agile space: XP, Kanban, FDD, etc.
o Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
o The ability to distinguish between what is Scrum what is not Scrum
o Excellent communication and mentoring skills
Desired Skills and Experience
o Total Experience of 5
years preferably in an Engineering or Technical Environment
o First level Scrum Master certification (PSM II, CSP )
o 2
years of direct experience with multiple Agile teams
o Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team
o Consulting and facilitation skills in leading technical teams in the adoption and improvement of agile methodologies; ability to lead by example
o Previous experience as a collaborative leader.
o Solid understanding of both software and/or hardware development lifecycles
o Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred; or equivalent experience

Possible extension of termEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
