Postal Shipping / Gift Store Associate
Primary responsibility is to deliver first rate customer service to our customers. This requires strong interpersonal skills, effective oral/written communication skills and the ability to work well with others. Computer application knowledge, including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) is a plus. Knowledge of Internet applications is preferred. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for several hours at a time and ability to lift 50-75
lbs.
Perform any combination of the following tasks needed in the the postal/gift store. Sell and collect payment for products and services such as stamps, office supplies, shipping supplies and gift items. Answer questions related to shipping services and mail box rentals.
Daily Tasks Include
Professionally package items to be shipped
Wait on Customers
Process outgoing mail and packages
Fax, copy and print services
Multitask many dutiesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
