DataMentors is searching for an analytically-minded and detail-oriented individual with experience in marketing data analysis to join our Technical Services team.

Using innovative database marketing techniques, the Marketing Insights Analyst analyzes data and leverages insights gained to develop and execute actionable recommendations in order to best optimize our clients' marketing programs and deliver on their overall business objectives and goals.


RESPONSIBILITES

Serve as the primary liaison to client to manage and execute (using DataMentors' BI toolset) typical marketing database deliverables, such as: counts, pulls, and reports, related to marketing campaigns and customer analyses.

Understand the client's request within their marketing/business context in order to translate their project objectives into working technical specifications for DataMentors colleagues and/or to execute on your own.

Identify opportunities, summarize finding, and present strategic recommendations that are related to key business behaviors such as, but not limited to: customer acquisition, product up-sell and cross-sell, customer retention, lifetime value, channel preferences, customer satisfaction and loyalty drivers.

Be the client's trusted advisor, especially related to marketing data utilization and insights, in order to develop solutions to client data issues and business problems and advise client on best practices and historical uses of different data elements within their marketing database.

Ensure final deliverables meet project and client expectations, are client-ready, on-time, and error free through application of appropriate project management processes and quality control measures.

Support internal DataMentors initiatives especially related to sales presentations, solution demonstrations, and proof of concept tests with prospective clients. Will also be expected to support the training and mentoring of colleagues less familiar with database marketing activities.
REQUIREMENTS

Demonstrated experience using business intelligence tools, preferably in support of marketing activities, to execute basic technical tasks such as transversing a hierarchical database, executing queries & campaigns, and building reports
Must be able to demonstrate a strong understanding, if not applied experience, in the following areas:
o CRM/Database Marketing
o Direct Marketing, including direct mail, telemarketing, and interactive
o Marketing Analysis & Reporting
o Segmentation & Predictive Models
o Data Warehouse Design
o Data Mining & Reporting
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including senior leadership
Superior customer service ability
Highly analytical with excellent critical thinking ability
Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines, preferably through the application of basic project management concepts and processes
Ability to work both independently and within a team to meet published expectations
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Keeps up-to-date with emerging trends and technical knowledge in marketing database technology and strategies

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or quantitative discipline (such as Statistics or Economics)
Minimum of 5 years work experience in marketing and/or analyses in a professional services or client-side marketing team environmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
