This is a long-term contract position. For non-local candidates, we can do all interviews over phone/Skype.

Description:
Looking for a person with hands on Disaster Recovery planning experience in a mid to large computer environment.
They need to have experience with and a strong understanding of the following;
o DR best practices (planning, managing, executing, maintaining DR tests and recovery plans, development and implementation of DR processes and standards)
o IT Infrastructure (Examples: mainframes, AS400, networking, networking protocols, storage, backups, Unix/Linux/Wintel/ESX/VM servers and OS, Oracle databases, file transfers, system authentication, system security, desktops, data center cabling, data center environmental, data replication technologies)
o Project management (MS Project-Expert Level) MUST
o Technical documentation (Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel)
o Business Continuity and Risk Management (business resumption, RTO's/RPO's, risk identification and aversion)
A college degree would be preferable.
Industry certifications related to IT Infrastructure or DR is a plus, not a must.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
