Technician/Mechanic - Diesel and Construction Equipment #14-0215

UP TO $7500 RELOCATION ALLOWANCE FOR LEVEL 4 AND ABOVE, EXPERIENCED QUALIFIED TECHNICIANS
This position is responsible for diagnosing problems and performing standard mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs on customer's equipment in Yancey Bros. Co. facility to including, but not limited to, construction equipment. Qualified candidates must furnish their own tools, be able to operate equipment, and complete all work orders in an accurate and timely manner. Required to have experience with complex hydraulic, electrical, computer and mechanical systems, and perform welding and brazing to fabricate and modify parts. Also must be able to lift 50 lbs as needed. There are additional miscellaneous duties to be completed as assigned by the manager.
Requirements:
Prior industry experience, or in the top tier graduating class from a recognized technical program. Must have the ability to operate a variety of equipment safely to diagnose, adjust and repair malfunctions, follow oral and written instructions, read and understand operator manuals, and work cooperatively with others. Should be skilled in basic computer applications on Word based programs.
