Position Summary Staples Customer Service interacts with customers millions of times each year, and each interaction provides an opportunity to improve the customer experience, customer satisfaction, and our operations.
The Customer Service Intelligence Center team is responsible for finding those important insights and we are adding an experienced storyteller to the team.
As the Communications Specialist, your role will be to distill analysis findings into key messages and weave a compelling story complete with convincing calls to action.
No dry technical readouts here - you will translate complex topics into easily understandable and fascinating presentations, infographics and other powerful communication mediums.

Primary Responsibilities o Create communications (primarily presentations and infographics) for audiences at all levels of the company by synthesizing key messages into a clear, strategic narrative, illustrated with high impact graphics o Partner with data analysts to transform findings into easy to understand concepts that are relevant to the audience o Partner with business experts to communicate the customer viewpoint to our leadership and the rest of the company o Build relationships with business partners to gain a better understanding of their perspective and how they prefer to receive information o Partner with project teams in order to create presentations that summarize their findings and improvements o Participate in projects as a communications subject matter expert to create and execute communication plans o Complete ad hoc requests for presentation content o Assist in coordinating presentations in support of key business projects and initiatives o Prepare presentations and talking points for major Customer Service initiatives o Research communication trends, evaluate and recommend new communication methods and tools that increase associate engagement and alignment; act as subject matter expert on all things related to creating effective presentations o Support other Customer Service projects as requested The ideal candidate:
o Is passionate about visual storytelling o Is highly driven self starter o Thrives in an extremely fast-paced environment and can maintain a positive attitude while responding to rapidly changing priorities o Is comfortable with ambiguity in a role and can perform without a pre-defined, structured process o Can quickly understand complex analysis and translate into straightforward explanationsQualifications Required qualificationso At least 3 years professional work experience in a Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, or similar roleo Experience working with complex topics and informationo Experience with communication theory and strategieso Expert level proficiency with powerpoint and creating infographicsPreferred qualificationso University degree or college diploma in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or Business Administration preferredo Formal education in communication theoryo Graphic design experience.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
