Job Description:
The incumbent assists in the new development of new software applications and the maintenance and support of existing applications to provide information technology solutions for the company. This position is responsible for participating in the design, development, and dissemination of reporting and dashboardingsolutionsforCahabaGBAoperations. Requirementsrangefromstandardproduction reporting and dashboarding, to specifically designated unit level reporting and dashboarding, to in-depth trending of current and historical operations data.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor degree or 3 years of relevant business experience and demonstrated programming aptitude.
Exceptional written, verbal, visual, and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience in a position communicating with internal and external customers.
Experience in a position requiring problem solving and independent thinking.
Experience managing multiple projects with various priorities.
Exposure to mathematics/statistical analysis in a position or classroom setting is preferred.
Experience in Healthcare/Insurance field is preferred.
Experience using workflow or business process tools is desired.
Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing system failures is a plus.
SoftwareRequirements:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications,includingWord,Excel,andAccess.
Experience with database query tools (i.e. Crystal, SQL, SAS, etc.).
Experience with HTML/Web Application Development.
Experience working with trend analyses & interpretation preferred. Prior Pega experience is a preference.
Experience with SAS BI tools (Enterprise Guide, Stored Processes, Web Report Studio, etc.) is preferred. Working knowledge of JAVA and J2EE technologies is preferred.
Experience with IBM Rational Application Developer (RAD) for WebSphere is a plus.
Experience with Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC) support or development is a plus.
Experience with Java Web Services and XML is a plus.
Experience working in a Unix server environment a plus. Network/Socket programming experience is a plus. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
