Personal Care Aide

Upstate HealthCare Services is currently looking for Personal Care Aides in the Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens Counties of South Carolina.
The ideal candidate will be able to:
Administer bedside or personal care, such as ambulation or personal hygiene assistance.
Document client health or progress.
Preparation of food or meals.
Prepare and maintain records of client progress and services performed, reporting changes in client condition to manager or supervisor.
Perform healthcare-related tasks, such as monitoring vital signs and medication, under the direction of registered nurses.
Participate in case reviews, consulting with the team caring for the client, to evaluate the client's needs and plan for continuing services.
Care for individuals or families during periods of incapacitate, family disruption, or convalescence, providing companionship, personal care, or help in adjusting to new lifestyles.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Knowledge in customer and personal service which includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for service, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
English language proficiency.
Service oriented attitude.
Social perceptiveness in order to be aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do.
Active listening by giving patients and families their full attention, understanding points being made, and asking questions as appropriate.
Upstate HealthCare Services offers competitive pay and variable hours.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
