Planning and implementing a quality management strategy that delivers cost reductions, limits product and process variation, and maintains product integrity;
Leading the continuous improvement efforts from strategy to operational levels;
Driving improvement efforts through Statistical Process Control and problem solving methodologies such as Design of Experiments, Root Cause Analysis, etc.;
Reviewing new and current product design and recommending revisions of product and process specifications;
Analyzing production limitations and standards through coordination with manufacturing and product engineering;
Conferring with customers to define and resolve product quality issues;
Directing the inspection and sampling processes and the utilization or implementation of new test plans, methods or equipment.

EDUCATION:
4-year Engineering degree required; Mechanical, Industrial or Systems Engineering. Masters or MBA is preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

5
years of manufacturing experience in process improvement and integration of machinery, people and processes;
Experience identifying and recommending solutions for quality initiatives using ROI and business models;
Design of Experiments, Root Cause Analysis, cost reductions, etc.;
Experience formulating quality control policies and procedures;
Experience establishing processes which have met or exceeded industry standards.
