Injection Mold Production Tech

Job Responsibilities Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots injection molding machines and related auxiliary equipment.
Makes periodic checks of machine conditions, resin levels, air and water systems.
Performs all process inspections including heat control readings, cooling water temperatures and air pressure checks.
Performs preventative maintenance on machines and auxiliary equipment as assigned.
Performs hourly quality checks on product observing it for contamination, air bubbles, short shot, flash, gate defects, waterlines, color specifications, clarity and notifies Team Leader when discovered.
Performs all required quality checks and assures all production conforms to specification.
Participates in the development and implementation of line improvements.
Maintains various daily production reports in SAP as required.
Performs product-handling duties, which includes transferring finished product to Warehouse locations; includes scrapgrinding and material loadingFollows all safety requirements, policies and reports any unsafe conditions to a leader.
Miscellaneous related duties as assigned.

Strong mechanical aptitude and experience.
Technically orientated and knowledgeable in manufacturing systems.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Proficient in computer programs.
EDUCATIONS and/or
Experience:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED)Four year degree in relevant major (such as engineering, plastics, or packaging) and/or 3-5
years of relevant manufacturingexperiencePHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
