Patient Care Associate, Pre op Holding THIS POSITION IS REQUESTED TO SPECIFICALLY SUPPORT THE SURGICAL SERVICES PRE OP AND PACU PORTION.

Provide basic direct care tasks for the pediatric,adolescent, adult and geriatric patient poulation.
Transports patient to all locations in the hospital as needed.
Performs technically accurate age appropriate electrocardiograms.
Obtains blood specimens for laboratory tests.
Demonstrates competency based on area of assignment, meets standards of quality as measures by the Performance Improvement process.
Works under the direction and the supervision of the RN.
Experience Qualified candidates must have BLS and one of the following:
Florida Certified Nursing Assistant License with EKG and Phlebotomy certifications Florida Certified Nursing Assistant License with a Medical Assistant Certification Patient Care Technician Certification that includes both EKG and Phlebotomy training Florida LPN license with EKG and Phlebotomy certifications Employment Type Full Time Shift Hours 0630-3p Shift 1 Work Shift Full Time Days.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
