International manufacturer seeks a degreed HR Manager with a background in distribution, warehouse logistics or manufacturing to join the human resources team and support Recruitment, Employee Relations and Safety functions.
The ideal HR Manager - Safety will have 5
years' experience in progressive Human Resources role and a proven track record of communicating and building relationships at all organizational levels.
Salary:
$55-80k plus excellent benefits, Location:
Edgerton, KS 66021 HR Manager - Safety
Responsibilities:
o Coordinates the recruitment process, in support of hiring supervisors.
Serves as liaison with external recruitment resources.
o Coaches and consults with managers and employees on issues including performance management, terminations, career development, harassment, discrimination, FMLA and corrective action issues.
o Manage Workers Compensation claims.
o Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits administration and open enrollment.
o Assist with the coordination of companywide events.
HR Manager - Safety Requirements:
o Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Administration or similar study.
o 5
years' experience with progressive HR leadership.
o Proven track record of Benefits Administration/HR Generalist Experience.
o Ability to influence, communicate and build relationships at all levels.
o Advanced Microsoft Office skills and HRIS/ATS.
o Must demonstrate general knowledge, understanding and compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations relating to job duties.
