Primary duties
Gather and review business data to prepare records to general ledger statements, authenticating business transactions, focusing on manufacturing and inventory variance examination.
Compose account reports explaining findings. Analyze financial data and work thoroughly with Manufacturing and acquiring on rate accuracy and rate increases.
Observe compliance with commonly recognized accounting ethics and company procedures.
Revise, inspect, and corrects inaccuracies and inconsistencies in financial statements, records, and reports.
Interact with Engineers to analyze product cost variances and to conclude product costs both definite and expected.
Monetary venture lead for yearly Standard Cost Roll and Physical Inventory.
Collaborate with external and internal accountants in agreement with J-SOX.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
3
years related experience. Manufacturing background is a MUST!!
In depth knowledge of journal entries, financial modeling, and variance analysis and statement preparation. Extensive exposure to GAAP and SOX.
Superior analytical and presentation skills and maintain a high proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems. Function well in a fast paced, multitasking environment. Interacts with all levels of management.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
