Application Engineer - Electrical Products

For any Application Engineer, this is a dream job - the right company, the right products, and the ability to establish and maintain the right relationships. Not to mention, achieving the highest levels of customer service, and additional perks for achieving top results. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing technical support to internal and external customers, vendors and contractors for all products
- Work with Sales Engineers to develop engineered solutions to customer requests.
- Supporting Outside Sales Personnel with Functionality and Application of Electrical Products
- Make Customer Visits to Review Applications
- Recommend Parts to Customer for Usage
- Program Smart Devices and Instruct Customers on How to Modify Programs/Settings
- Prepare, log and track written quotations for equipment opportunities
- Provide product, sales and engineering support for all OTP products represented
- Process orders for equipment sales, completes, in a timely fashion
- Support account managers.

If you can accomplish the above, you've got what it takes. Realistically though, you need knowledge of computer skills, parts experience, and excellent customer service skills. If you have a degree in Engineering we'd prefer it, but it's not required. An excellent mechanical aptitude is needed, if you have it, you know why. If you don't, ask someone who does, and if they think you can do the work, or they'll help you through it, let's talk anyway.
