Sr. Equipment Engineer, Electronics 47060
Designing, developing, and setting-up new equipment on the manufacturing floor; Providing technical support to engineering and manufacturing to establish and maintain production processes; Reviewing and approving concept drawings for new equipment; Determining initial equipment capability through trials and evaluations at the vendor prior to delivery; Providing technical support for continuous improvement of production equipment and processes; Evaluating and recommending vendors for selection and approval; Providing technical training and support to new equipment engineers; Providing and managing tasks and projects for Equipment Engineering Technicians.
EDUCATION:
4-year degree required; Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related disciplines.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
4
years of experience in a manufacturing environment; Automotive manufacturing experience preferred; Knowledge/experience with CAD preferred; Mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical aptitude; Analytical and problem solving skills; Organizational and planning skills; Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
