Internal Fuel Billing Specialist


Summary: This position works in a team environment and reports to the Fuel manager supporting the Accounting and Supply departments in daily operational functions. This position is responsible for quick and accurate data/10-key entry, analysis and reconciliation of fuel inventories, fuel/freight invoices, and vendor payments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Reconcile vendor fuel and freight invoices.
Quick, accurate data entry of company owned fuel BOL's.
Analyze, research and correct, pricing, quantity and delivery discrepancies.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and internal customers.
Batch invoices for processing.
Process and record vendor initiated EFT payments.
Interface with related departments to resolve issues effecting data flow.
Regular correspondence with internal and external customers.
Timely reconciliation of Retail, Cardlock and Bulk Plant inventories.
Sort and distribute driver paperwork on a daily basis
GENERAL
Responsibilities:
Provides all guests with prompt and courteous service.
Perform specific tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
Give high attention to detail.
Promote and support company image standards.
Stay familiar with the Company Handbook and Company Policies.
Communicate effectively with team members in other departments to resolve problems and provide information as needed.
Work in a safe manner at all times and report all accidents immediately, complying with Company safety manual at all times.

EDUCATION and/or
Experience: College degree not required but preferred. Two (2) years of related experience/other education and/or experience may be considered as a substitute. Accounting experience preferred but not required. Internal billing/invoicing experience preferred.
LANGUAGE and/or COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to read and comprehend instructions as well as procedural manuals. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests and other team members. Ability to communicate with Company personnel using the intercom, voice-mail and e-mail systems.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in order to carry out routine tasks in relation to the essential duties of the position. Ability to reconcile accurately.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Ability to operate a personal computer with a general understanding of file management and Microsoft Office Suite software. 10-key by touch. Explorer and Chrome web browsers. SalesForce Chatter use a plus but not required. Gmail and Google apps use required.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to employ abstract thinking and learn and apply new concepts quickly.

The office is a corporate setting with cubicles and common areas. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
