M-FTechnical:
o Act as detailer to produce assembly drawings, detail drawings, and layouts based on input from Designers and/or Engineering.
o Gathering technical inputs from all disciplines as required to perform tasks o Review drawings for accuracy, conformance to project requirements, fabricability and established company practices and procedures.
o Modify drawings in accordance with approved Engineering Changes o Input data for computer-based MRP system, including parts master and bills of material o Handle multiple assignments.
o Provide technical support to resolve problems in manufacturing, procurement and the field.
o Must know Autodesk Inventor
Qualifications:
o Bachelor's degree in a technical field from a college that meets AIDD requirements, plus one year relevant design / drafting experience.
OR o Associate's degree in a technical field from a college or institute that meets AIDD requirements, plus two years relevant design / drafting experience.
OR o Two year technical education that meets AIDD requirements, plus three years relevant design / drafting experience.
OR o High school graduate (or equivalent), plus four years relevant design/drafting experience.
PLUS o Useful knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials and their applications.
o Applies a working knowledge of drafting standards and methods, geometric tolerancing.
o Aptitude in computer aided parametric solid modeling design and detailing.
o Working knowledge of computers, plotters, printers and other devices used for CAD.
o Possesses high technical aptitude and the ability to; visualize physical forms, develop feasible configurations, and understand engineering information.
o Displays good judgment in determining when to obtain engineering input.
o Works with minimal direction.
