Job Description:
Desktop Support Specialist
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned.)
Serve as IT liaison to all levels of Agency staff in creating dialogue regarding Network /Help Desk support and common questions/issues as it relates to the clinical applications
To maintain the help desk software entry
Provide telephone/written/email support for computer users of Company
Resolve issues prior to triage to higher level staff. Progressive growth must be shown in this area.
Assign tickets to higher-level staff. Track resolution and coordinate satisfaction with the originating user.
Create, maintain and use identified troubleshooting resources and knowledge management systems.

EDUCATION AND
Experience:
Associate's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, telecommunications, networking technology, or related area. Two years experience in an IT environment, with a minimum of one year experience in help desk support, technical training or education, or computer operations
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
