Overview:
Centerline Solutions is currently looking for an A&E Project Manager.
The A&E Project Manager will require the ability to be direct and complete projects for telecommunication clients using thorough knowledge of telecommunication industry.
This person will lead/work closely on assigned projects from planning, preliminary design, front end engineering, preparation of drawings and documents, evaluations, project management, construction support, liaison with local authorities and as-built documentation.
Provide technical knowledge of designs while consistently achieving overall department growth and profitability.
Responsibilities:
Business development and client managementInterface with external customers building relationships and assuring a strong customer focusMonitoring of project budgets, workload, and staff balancing the departmentWill be working with multi-discipline engineering team and interact with other inter-company departmentsUse CAD drafting software to modify and prepare engineering design documentsProvide and oversee effective designs to meet client requirementsPerform field activities such as observe and record existing field conditions, take and verify measurements within project areaAnalyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, geotechnical reports, alta surveys, topographic surveys, and other topographical and geologic data to plan projectsCoordinating documents for regulatory agenciesCoordinating with other internal team members on multi-discipline projects, which often includes drafters, electrical, and structural engineersResolve design and development problemsEnsure projects run smoothly and are completed within budget and on timeResponsible for quality and delivery of construction documentationCapable and experienced in managing and performing projects in a fast paced environmentManage the daily operating/personnel activities of the departmentEffectively build, lead, direct, mentor, and motivate a team of designers with regard to skillPerform other duties as assigned Working Conditions:
Office and construction siteAbility to sit and work at computer for an extended period of timeAbility to walk up numerous flights of stairs and/or work on rooftops and outside environmentsPeriodic weekend or evening work as neededRoutine travel required in multiple state area as needed

Requirements:
Associates or BS in Engineering or equivalent experience4 years managing an engineering or architectural departmentExperience in Telecom industry, specifically in wireless communication site designBasic understanding and use of AutoCADAbility to read and interpret blueprints, plans and specificationsBackground in all, or some, of the following areas:
Microwave, cellular, backfill transmission designs, site evaluation and selection, acquisition, zoning, construction and permitting.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
