Position: Firmware Engineer III - 27107
Type: Contract/12 months

Position Summary
This position requires a detailed understanding of embedded control system electronics and hardware interfacing. You will design, document, and test firmware algorithms to manage and interact with hardware. This role will require proven ability to work with electronics hardware personnel to determine initial project specifications and execute through the entire development cycle.
Minimum Qualifications
You will work in developing, implementing, testing and troubleshooting of firmware modules or subsystems in embedded applications for industrial motor control products in accordance with sound engineering practices and processes in partnership with team members across the globe. The successful candidate will possess a basic working knowledge of the creation and debugging of embedded applications. Activities include participation in technical reviews with peers to identify problems early in the development phases. The ability to consistently meet personal commitments and to work effectively in a diverse team environment is essential.
Requirements:
o Minimum BS Degree in Electrical Engineering - MS preferred.
o Typically four years of real time embedded firmware product development experience with an emphasis on the analysis, design, programming and testing of systems using engineering best practices.
o Good understanding of power electronics applications, including low voltage inverters, UPS systems, or similar technologies.
o Experience with motor control algorithms or other closed loop control systems.
o Matlab/Simulink auto-code generation training and/or experience is required.
o C/C++, Microprocessors/Microcontrollers experience is required. Experience with typical embedded control peripherals (ie. RAM, Flash, UART, PWM, A/D, CAN, I2C, and SPI).
o Open-minded, a willingness to experiment within acceptable boundaries and a creative mind to bring novel solutions into design and problem-solving.
o Researches situations and seeks input from subject matter experts to ensure fact-based recommendations and decisions are being made during all phases of product development.
o Takes accountability for meeting commitments and deadlines while taking responsibility for technical excellence and continuous improvement.
o Willingness to work in a diverse set of software development frameworks, including Agile (Scrum), Kanban, and waterfall, as the business demands. Must be willing to work in a team environment.
Desired
Embedded Real Time Operating System interface & customization experience.
Experience with TI and/or Freescale ARM A8 controller and/or ARM Cortex M3 or M4 processors.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
