Oracle Applications Solution Architect
Full time with benefits based in Long Island, New York
o Work alongside Business Analysts, Functional Consultants, Developers, Architects, Managers, and IT to determine scope, planning estimates, resource allocations and ultimately the successful delivery of business applications, whether in Oracle EBS or Agile
o Lead project(s) ensuring adherence to the established project methodologies, standards, tools, processes, policies and procedures.
o Manage project team deliverables, project intake process, production support and overall customer expectations
o Facilitate the identification and mitigation of project risks and issues
o Provide project capacity planning, budgets, status reports, and quality perspective
o Coordinate consensus for business process changes to align with Oracle requirements cross-functionally through the organization
o Communicate Oracle development status through training, documentation and reporting
o Support management of project risks and budget
o Support the design, evaluation, and implementation of Oracle systems
o Support improvement of operational metrics and performance measurement
o Provide ongoing evaluation of technology solutions and capabilities to ensure alignment with business objectives, identifying areas of risk and areas of improvement
o Assist Director of Information Technology in purchasing, maintaining and managing vendor relations, application licensing and versioning and application configuration and architecture
o Responsible for any other special projects as assigned by management
o Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, Engineering or related field required, Masters degree preferred
o 10
years of Technology experience in roles of progressively increasing responsibility including team lead, project management and supervisory experience
o Expert Oracle Financials Functional knowledge
o Strong SQL skills required
o Must be proficient in Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS r12)
o Experience implementing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Trade Management, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger in Release 12, Inventory (WMS), Work in Process, Order Management, Value Chain Planning experience is highly preferred
o Agile and Demantra proficiency is a plus
