Lab Equipment Service Manager

The Field Services Equipment Manager will have oversight and management of a cost effective, service oriented team in the maintenance of laboratory equipment and instrumentation such as Olympus, Advia and Cell-Dyn.
This individual will be responsible for organizing and coordinating the daily workload for the equipment services personnel, and assign technicians to jobs as determined by priority of need.
Manage This position requires the ability to develop and maintain department policy and procedures; establish equipment risk criteria and PM requirements; oversee product recalls and hazard alerts; ensure compliance with quality assurance, equipment and procedural standards, health and safety protocols.

The Manager will be responsible for evaluating and recommending clinical equipment replacement and service needs, manage departmental budget, and human resource tasks and issues.
This individual will be the primary liaison between all facility management and biomed service team; be able to prioritize projects, have sound decision making and solution implementation.
Mechanical engineering degree is required or similar field experience/ equivalent combination of education and experience with project engineering and manufacturing experience.
4-5 years of experience minimum, Supervisory experience is required.
Ideally candidates will have heavy experience with Beckman and Siemens lab equipment.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
