Qualifications: Valid Georgia secondary school teaching certificate in appropriate areas. Experience with co-teaching model preferred. Knowledge and experience with WIDA/MPI creation and teaching experience at the high school level desired.
Responsibilities: Plan and implement lessons for students enrolled in GPS curriculum. Collaborate with Data Teams to develop common plans, assessments, and grading. Plan and implement co-teaching lessons, if necessary. Understand the importance of remediation and developing strategies which meet the needs of students. Tutor after school, if necessary. Attend outside meetings through RESA and the State during the school year and summer, as is deemed permissible. Develop differentiated instructional strategies which meet the needs of students. Be willing to assist with extra-curricular activities.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
