Hugo Benzing, a leading German precision manufacturer of fasteners with over 100 billion stamped parts sold worldwide since its' founding in 1933, is hiring machinists for its newest facility located in Wixom, Michigan. This exciting opportunity is needed to support newly awarded production programs secured by Benzing for 2015. Current customers include BMW, Robert Bosch, Chrysler, Daimler, Ford, Getrag, GM, Mahle, ZF and many more. These positions offer the opportunity to work for a well established, successful company, in a new setting.

Basic
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Minimum five (5) years of documented experience as a Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
Must be able to read mechanical drawings.
Must have experience with set-up, operation, and disassembly of conventional and computer numerically controlled machine tools.
Must be able to set up machines by specifications and set-up plans.
Must be able to operate machinery and inspect machined components using precision measuring equipment.
Must be able to determine tool offsets and load tooling into machinery at correct settings.
Must be able to analyze and correct non-routine machining issues of a broad scope using independent judgment.
Must be able to conduct quality assurance of produced parts (measure, examine, and test completed products for defects).
Must be able to train and develop new employees.
Must be willing to perform additional tasks as required to complete the larger task.
Must be willing with or without reasonable accommodation, to work any shift and work overtime, as required.
