Structural Designer
Carded Graphics is seeking a new structural designer to add to our growing team. This position would involve the design and development of folding cartons, beverage carriers and all associated tooling required for manufacturing. Previous folding carton and beverage carrier experience is required.
Responsibilities:
Successful applicant will have the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast paced environment.
Excellent ability to communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external customers.
Must be able to function independently and also in a team oriented environment
Must be able to see projects through from the initial concept to production
Ability to use CAD software and physical prototyping
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering / Industrial Design or related field
3 years minimum experience required
Ability to use hand tools, milling machine, router table, Gerber M3000 cutting table
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to make written documentation of all designs and design changes
Critical thinking, decision making and problem solving skills
Comply with all company safety regulations
