Responsibilities:
Establishes and maintains a thorough knowledge of all products and investor requirements to ensure quality closing packagesAudit closing documents and file based on audit procedures.
Prepares and explains closing requirements to settlement agent as needed Adhere to Liberty?s Service Philosophy and StandardsCoordinate shipping and receiving of documents to loan advisors, settlement agents, and wholesale partners, as needed.
Ensures that all loans meet guidelines for quality and regulatory compliance and investor closing standards are met Review title information to ensure appropriate vesting is determined at time of closingPrepares all closing documents required to close mortgage loans, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate; follows up with any discrepancies Cross-train in all positions for coverage purposes Work with team lead and/or team members on miscellaneous department projects as needed Audit initial documents and file based on audit procedures.
Maintain updated status of loans and enter all required data Ensure loan documents are delivered on time as determined by our service level agreements Handle all revision requests in a timely manner Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum of two years of Closing experience required.
Reverse mortgage industry experience a plus Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork Employee must work well under pressure, meeting multiple and conflicting deadlinesIndividual must be extremely detailed-oriented Ability to develop and maintain files and records Proficient computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer Organizing and coordinating skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
