Alarm Installation Technician
Cam Connections, Inc. (CCI) is currently seeking an experienced Field Security Alarm Technician to be located in the Birmingham or Montgomery, AL area. This position will handle service calls and installation jobs throughout Alabama, parts of Tennessee, Georgia and Florida panhandle. Will work with other technicians on installation jobs throughout the area.

Responsibilities of our Field Security Alarm Technician include:
Install CCTV, digital recorders, Electronic Access Control (EAC), Intrusion and Fire Alarm Systems.
Test, troubleshoot, repair, program and verify system functions and performance.
Install cabling and mounting equipment, wiring and conduit for systems.
Assists in the verification of CCTV, EAC, Intrusion, Fire and Integrated Systems functions by testing equipment, programming, connections, and signals.
Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, thus effectuating prompt and accurate repairs for the customer.
Provide customers with operation training and answer questions while maintaining a professional and courteous customer relationship.
Experience
Requires 3
years hands on technical knowledge installing, servicing and troubleshooting CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion Systems.
Working knowledge of AC/DC electronic theory, IP network and analog PTZ and fixed cameras, LAN/WAN networks for PC systems and CCTV equipment, fiber optic and CAT-5E cabling.
Must have the ability to interpret schematics and loading of software updates for PC's and DVR's.
Able to perform installation of concealed devices and wiring.
Must have the ability to work alone or as a team.
Strong customer service skills and a genuine desire to interact with customers.
Overnight travel within the service area during the work week is required.
Must have a clean valid driver's license to drive company provided vehicle.
State specific certification a plus
Fire Alarm experience a plus.
NICET Certification a plus
