Position
Summary: Anistar is seeking experienced Structured Cable Techs for several short term opportunities to provide assistance with the installation, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data cables as well as conduit and security/access control equipment.
The ideal candidate must possess the following:
Technicians MUST have experience working with various cables that include, but are not limited to: twisted pair, coax, power limited tray, stranded, solid conductor low voltage, copper, Category 5e, Category 6, single and multi -mode fiber optic cables. Cable installation includes: pulling, placement, termination, testing, and labeling. Knowledge of Telecom systems, TCP/IP networks, and wireless solutions. BICSI cert (current or past) a plus, but not needed. We are looking for individuals who will pay attention to detail and work efficiently under minimal supervision. Must pass drug and background checks.

Responsibilities:
o Pulling, terminating, and testing Cat 5, Cat 6 cable
o Install J Hooks
o Read blue prints

o 1
year(s) of commercial structured cabling
o Experience pulling, testing, and terminating preferred
o Ability to climb ladders and insert cable in Access Points.
oMust have own tools and PPEEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
