Southeastern 1099 Technicians Needed!
Contingent is looking for quality independent contractor technicians to join our partnership network to work on a new client project on sites throughout North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia! This is an opportunity to gain experience and earn extra income through part-time work as a 1099 contractor.
The scope of work includes but is not limited to:
Extend new broadband circuit or T1 utilizing the appropriate cable type -(Cat5e or RG6)
Run new cable where needed for up to 10 Power over Ethernet phones (PoE)
Connect new modem/ router to PoE switch and new Watchguard firewall
Bringing a work laptop (Windows XP or greater) to site in case configuration changes are required
Pay rate: $18-$24/ hour, depending on technician status and experience
We are also always looking for technicians experienced in VoIP, CCTV, Electrical, Fiber, HVAC, Networking, Paging and Software, among other competencies and skill sets, to join our partnership network. Contingent currently has the need for partners with advanced tools and technicians with the following tools will be given priority status for new opportunities.
Fiber Optic Meter
T-Berd Test Set (Used for Ethernet, Fiber, DS3, & PRI)
Fluke Meter
Wireless Spectrum Analyzer
EVDO/Aircard for wireless internet access.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
