Primary Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
Currently seeking a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in the Southern area of Ohio at a brand new facility.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant.
The responsibilities of the Primary Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant include:
Help start up a brand new practice in Primary Care Responsible for providing comprehensive primary and preventative healthcare and disease management to clients of the Center.
Will rotate between 2 locations each week.
This position has been made possible through a grant and they already have a waiting list of 500
patients.
They have a brand new part of the building set up, no equipment, etc.
You can expect to say around 20 patients a day.
They have one other excellent NP working there now as well.
Requirements of the Primary Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant:
The ideal candidate would be a master's level, Ohio licensed ANP or FNP with current National Board Certification A minimum of 2 years' experience Will also consider a Physician Assistant, CTP preferable.
Experience working as a member of an interdisciplinary team and providing services to medically underserved populations is highly preferred.
ACLS certification and/or experience managing acute illness states is desirable.
Effective verbal, written and electronic communication skills; EHR documentation experience; outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task; initiative, creativity, problem-solving skills and flexibility to meet patient needs; ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously; ability to collaborate with professional colleagues in an interdisciplinary setting; and, ability to consistently present with a friendly, welcoming and professional appearance.

The mission of the Center is to provide leadership and services in a community-wide effort to foster positive, optimal mental health and to assist the community to find ways to prevent, reduce, and minimize the residual effects of mental health problems.
This area is a rural area situated in the foothills of the Appalachian Region of America.
