Farmers Insurance currently has three different sales opportunities available throughout Illinois. We are looking for people with a drive to have a successful career in Insurance Sales and Business Development. Below is a brief description of each opportunity:
Retail Agency Owner Program-
Our Retail Agency Program is designed to give seasoned, well-capitalized professionals a turn-key system to quickly build a start-up Farmers Retail Agency location. We offer financial support to build-out your office, and finances for marketing to supplement the leads the company provides you. The program's compensation also includes up to $270K in bonuses and incentives that can be earned in the first three years, as well as an out-brokerage program based on eligibility of risks and price competitiveness. Although you will be working at a retail location we will train you both internally in our office and externally in yours. You will also be supported by our staff in Collinsville, IL which includes Commercial and Life specialists, Trainers, Customer Service Reps, Marketing Specialists and Recruiters who can help you staff your location. You also have the ability to build economic interest in your book which can be sold on the open market, back to the company, or passed along to a family member.
Traditional Agency Owner Program-
For individuals who may not have the capital or desire to go right into a retail location but still want to build and own their own Agency we offer the traditional program. In this program you are housed out of our Collinsville office, where you go through our training program and work for your first 12-18 months. We offer a three year financial support program which includes monthly income, commissions, bonuses and financial support to move into an office when the time comes. We also provide our traditional agents lead and marketing support.
Retail Agency Staff Member/Producer-
For individuals who may not be ready or are not interested in owning their own business we have producer positions available in our retail locations. The hiring for these positions are subject to the discretion to the Agency owner and are filled as we open our offices throughout Illinois.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
