Software Application Developer
ABP is currently searching for an Application Developer to join our team in the Orlando, FL area.
Job Description: As an Application Developer you will contribute to the Development team by applying your expertise in architectural and design deliverables and delivery of code based on those solutions. As a team member you will work closely with senior team members to plan releases and delivery schedules. You will also be expected to work as a sole project developer with minimal oversight.
The Developer will be responsible for code delivery and work closely with internal business partners and third party vendors in ensuring quality solutions are delivered. This position works closely with Marketing and Accounting partners where proven people and communication skills are just as important as technical skills. The Developer will also be required to assist in remote troubleshooting and production deployments. You will be held accountable for delivering work in a timely manner in accordance to project deadlines and be able to account for work delivered. Finally, all applications are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. With that, the Developer must be available for possible late hours from time to time.
Job Requirements: Required Skills and
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience with the Visual Studio 2010
Minimum 2 years of experience with C#, ASP.NET and .NET 4.0 technologies
Experienced with analysis of business requirements and user stories related to those requirements
Experienced in demonstrating effective time management practices
Minimum 2 years of experience implementing JQuery and other Java Script framework solutions across multiple browser platforms
Minimum 2 years of experience with scripting language
Demonstrate work experience
Preferred Skills/
Qualifications:
Must be a self-starter, quick learner and have continual desire to learn
Must be a able to thrive in a mirco business environment.
Experience with VeriFone products
Server Experienced communicating and working with external, third party vendors and applications
Familiar with agile development methodologies and associated exercises
Familiar with working in multi-environment, virtualized lab systems (Dev, QA,
Stage, Production)
Experienced working within a multi-discipline team environment
Ability to effectively communicate across a broad range of stakeholders within technology and the business
Ability to succeed in a dynamic, collaborative and fast paced environment
