Counter Sales / Warehouse
The Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate is responsible for our sales counter at one of our established wholesale HVAC distributorships that carries multiple brands of equipment, parts and supplies. The ultimate goal of this role is to provide strong customer service in a sales oriented setting. This associate will also help with warehouse duties as needed.
Essential Duties/Accountabilities:
o Represent GEMAIRE as a leader in the industry ensuring maximum sales.
o Interact with internal and outside sales people, vendors and contractors.
o Responsible for showroom merchandising and re-stocking product.
o Assist in resolving customer relations problems with both dealers and end users.
o Complete sales order process for customers with efforts to up-sell associated items.
o Loading and unloading of products in truck for delivery to customers and/or other Sales Centers.
o Receive, inspect and stock all merchandise.
o Verify all items received to items ordered for accuracy.
o Pick and verify orders for customers and inter-office transfers. Prepare orders for shipment as needed.
o Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
o Minimum 1
year experience in a Counter Sales role, preferably in the HVAC industry.
o Minimum 6 months Warehouse experience including forklift operation.
o Experience in a wholesale HVAC equipment supply house preferred.
o Knowledge of air conditioning, heating and ventilation equipment at a wholesale distribution level.
o Proven success in sales and providing excellent customer service.
o Strong interpersonal skills including sales, problem solving and customer service focus absolutely required.
o Ability to work independently, but meet assigned goals and objectives in designated time frames.
o Capable of working in a fast paced environment with skills to multi-task on different levels.
o Must possess the attitude of wanting to learn and grow with our Company.
o Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
