Diesel Mechanic


Duties:
Heavy diesel truck and trailer repair.
Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure that they are in
Proper operating condition. Use handtools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, and precision instruments, as well as power tools such as pneumatic wrenches, lathes, welding equipment, and jacks and hoists. Adjust brakes, align wheels, tighten bolts and screws, and reassemble equipment. Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery. Attach test instruments to equipment, and read dials and gauges to diagnose malfunctions. Replace air bags on trucks or trailers.
Rebuild engines.
Perform DOT inspections on trucks and trailers.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
