Automotive Service Advisor
Service Writer - Service Consultant.
The service consultant will handle customer phone calls, appointments and drive in service by writing and scheduling repair work. The ability to multitask, along with mechanical understanding and attention to detail for the repair order write-up process is important. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are a must.
Responsibilities include:
Handling phone and service drive in transactions, writing of repair orders & estimates, invoicing, and initial symptom diagnostics questions from customers
Consulting with vendors for warranty coverages and procedural guidance
Ensuring authorizations and documentation requirements are met for warranty repairs and other customer repairs, including purchase orders warranty authorizations
Coordinating repairs with customers at all points in the service process
Coordinating with service manager, technicians and the parts department as it relates to the repair process for both warranty and customer paid repairs
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Dependable and reliable attendance for scheduled work shifts
Familiarity and experience with computer systems (Familiarity with ADP a plus)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
